We’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re the Film Department of the Austin Film Festival, and we’re reaching out to introduce ourselves and connect with you about how we can be a resource for your students through AFF’s 2026 Script and Film Competitions which are open for submissions.
We have already mailed you a physical packet with printed materials about our competitions which we’d love for you to share with your students. Linked here is a digital postcard detailing specific opportunities including a discount code to submit their scripts and films to our competitions. We would appreciate if you could share this with your students and colleagues.
We would also be more than happy to speak with your students in an upcoming class about our competitions and how to navigate film festivals. We typically coordinate these over a virtual call so please let us know if you are interested in scheduling a time that works best for your students as they wrap up their class projects.
