CUNY TV – Internship/Mentorship Program

The CUNY TV Internship/Mentorship program is an on-the-job learning experience where students learn the ropes of television production and perform tasks while participating in skills development activities as part of the internship experience. We match our interns with mentors who are television professionals with years of field experience. Once selected, the students and mentors attend an orientation session to learn about work expectations, CUNY-wide work policies, and CUNY TV-specific communications and safety protocols. We will take on average 15 student interns per semester.

CUNY TV offers internship opportunities only during the academic Fall and Spring semesters and only to CUNY students. Federal Work-Study and Academic Credit Internships are available. Submissions open on August 10th for Fall internships and January 10th for Spring internships. Candidates must be full-time CUNY students and apply by using this form: Internship Submission.
