Hello friends and partners,

I hope you are taking care. My name is Noel Davis, and I’m reaching out from Firelight Films. Firelight Films is the award-winning documentary production company behind the films of Stanley Nelson (SAN JUAN HILL: Manhattan’s Lost Neighborhood, SOUND OF THE POLICE, ATTICA, CRACK: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy, MILES DAVIS: Birth of the CoolBLACK PANTHERS: Vanguard of the RevolutionTell Them We Are Rising, We Want The Funk, Sun-Ra: Do The Impossible, etc.)

To this end, we are reaching out to source our next cohort of Firelight Films interns for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester, which is set to begin on Monday, January 12, 2026, and run through Friday, May 29, 2026. Our interns support many aspects of our work , and by doing so, they help us further our mission of making an impact through documentary film.

Please note: Our internship program is currently operating on a HYBRID basis. However, we are certainly open to local candidates who are available to work from our home office.

If you are seeking internships and think there may be interest within your department in Firelight’s internship program, please distribute the following info sheet as you see fit within your university listservs and departmental programs. Also, if you have any questions, please reply to this email.

If you’d like to refer anyone specifically, please reply to this email or direct them to internships@firelightmedia.org. Thank you for your time and attention!

In closing, I will also post the Firelight Spring 2026 Internship Program informational template on Handshake before the end of this week. Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns to my email.

All best,
