Subject: Opportunity for Hunter College Students: Videographer & Editor Role with Venture Capital Firm
My name is Simon Custer, and I’m leading production on a new interview series with Nebular VC, a venture capital firm based in NYC.
We’re currently seeking a Videographer & Editor, ideally a film or media production student or recent graduate, to join us from October through January. It’s a paid, hands-on role involving both production, filming, and post-production editing for a conceptually rich, visually ambitious project.
About the project:
The series will feature in-depth interviews with founders, technologists, and thinkers discussing what the world could look like in 2050 – across areas like space, longevity, AI, and climate change. Our goal is to create high-quality, cinematic conversations that focus on the ideas shaping the next 25 years.
Timeline & Compensation:
- Filming & editing through December; launch mid-January
- Compensation: $20-25/hour
This position is ideal for a film student or recent graduate eager to gain professional experience in documentary-style filmmaking, editing, and creative direction with direct exposure to founders and thought leaders shaping the future.
