I hope you’re doing well. I’m excited to share that the Career Center is launching Bridge to Internship Success, an 8-week hybrid program starting next week, designed to help Hunter students gain the skills, confidence, and tools they need to excel in an internship.
**Topics will include professional communication (email, Teams/Slack), digital literacy, corporate lingo, networking strategies, and community-building activities.**
What students will gain:
- Enhanced communication, networking, and workplace problem-solving skills
- Strategies for navigating internship applications, onboarding, and workplace expectations
- A digital badge + certificate of completion to highlight on resumes, LinkedIn, and employer conversations
- A professional padfolio — perfect for interviews, career fairs, and organizing materials
- Access to free professional headshots (if students don’t already have one)
We are using an interest form to collect students’ availability so we can lock in the best weekly session time.
