Artwork CompetitionNYPH Regenerative Metropolis 2025 Visualizing a Foundation for a Thriving Future New York Passive House invites artists, students and anyone interested to participate in the Regenerative Metropolis symposium’s artwork competition. This year, we encourage submissions to explore and visualize regenerative architecture, which has yet to be truly defined, emphasizing the integration of architecture into systems that support a thriving and connected world. We seek artwork that embodies the essence of a regenerative metropolis — designs that envision renewal and healing, both for the environment and society. The piece can reflect the intersection of energy-efficient systems (such as Passive House), sustainable practices, and a holistic approach to urban life, exploring themes of ecological restoration, systems thinking, circular design, resilience, and interconnectedness. The winning artwork will be featured in symposium promotional materials, helping to inspire and engage attendees in conversations about the future of design and regenerative architecture.
