Internship Description

The Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, Inc. (HITN) Internship Program provides meaningful educational and field experiences for students pursuing careers in television broadcasting and related fields.

The program is a hands-on learning experience that will have students working alongside industry professionals in 4 areas: Marketing, Production, Programming, and CBO Connect. Selected candidates will receive a one-time $1,000 stipend at the successful completion of the program. You will find the full description here.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must

  1. Be a currently enrolled Hunter College student majoring in media or film
  2. Be available a minimum of 3 days -15 hours a week. The internship is located at HITN TV Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
  3. Have a strong, demonstrated interest in Puerto Rican/Latine subject matter and knowledge of social media campaigns.
