Plato Learning operates outdoor mythology-based day camps for kids ages 7-15. They create a world where monsters, myth, and magic transport kids out of the mortal realm into one where they are empowered to develop new skills, take risks, solve problems, and ultimately become Heroes. Now in twelve locations spanning from NYC to California, Plato Learning uses actors, live-action role-play, and physically and mentally engaging activities to bring myths to life.
Plato Learning is looking for a Camp/Operations Director in Staten Island, Queens and San Francisco (CA), a Program/Quest Director in Queens and San Francisco, and other leadership positions in Brooklyn, Inwood, Central Park, Washington DC, Richmond VA, Raleigh NC, Philadelphia PA, Maplewood NJ, and Los Angeles CA. These positions require a few hours a week of job training during the spring semester. Over the course of spring and summer, a first year Program Director earns ~$6,000-$10,000, a first year Operations Director earns ~$5,000-$9,000, and a first year Quest Director earns ~$6,000-$11,000, all paid at $18-20/hour.
