TV Production Management/Digital Marketing Assistant for Film Festival Initiative

Seeking a recent graduate or alumni with solid experience in digital marketing with strong project management skills. We are not looking for filmmakers or journalists, however experience in film and media is a plus. It’s a part-time, 20hrs/week, paid position starting on May 1st. Job Overview:

The Assistant would perform clerical, administrative, research, and other project management tasks related to production and digital marketing under the supervision of a Senior Production Manager.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

• The Assistant would arrange meetings, organize documents, and update records related to the film festival Initiative.

• Update the film submissions database, review films, and prepare deliverables for the film festival library.

• Assist in producing TV studio shows. Publish and manage content on various marketing platforms.

• Assist with interns’ onboarding and scheduling tasks. 

Qualifications: 

• 1 –3 years of experience publishing and managing content on digital marketing platforms. Experience in film, television, or advertising. Proficient in video editing and promotional design (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.) Highly proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular). Ability to create and analyze reports and databases. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving attitude.   

Location: Midtown

In-Person/Remote: In-person. 

Hours/Days: 20 hrs./week. Monday – Friday   

Compensation: $25.51/hr. 

Starting date:  May 1, 2023
