Subject: Help Promote The Cultural Corps Spring 2026 Application to Your CUNY Students!
Dear David Pavlosky from Hunter,
We’re excited to announce that applications for the Spring 2026 cohort of the CUNY Cultural Corps will officially open on October 1st, 2025, and will remain open until October 31st, 2025. We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity with your students!
Cultural Corps offers CUNY undergraduates paid work experience within New York City’s arts and cultural institutions, providing invaluable exposure and creating pathways for meaningful careers in this dynamic sector. Students selected for the Spring 2026 cohort will work in one of these departments:
- Development & Fundraising
- Education & Public Programs
- Communications & Marketing
- Curatorial & Exhibitions
- Production Management (Performances & Events)
Interns are paid $20/hour and will work from March to May 2026, gaining hands-on experience and networking within the field.
Application deadline is October 31st, 2025. Please encourage interested students to apply and consider including this information in your announcements or course communications.
Please note that the main components of our application have not changed since Spring 2025:
- Resume
- Two short-answer responses
- Eligibility requirements (2.5 GPA, 15 credits minimum, no prior participation in another paid CUNY internship program by time of application, and must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at CUNY)
Faculty can refer to this information session presentation linked on our website here to help guide students as they prepare for upcoming cohort cycles. If there are any significant changes to the application process in future cycles, we will notify faculty on how to best support students in applying for these roles.
