The Career Center is seeking a motivated and creative college student to join our team as a Student Worker in Social Media and Marketing Support. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and outreach efforts while contributing to the success of our career programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Social Media Management: Assist in managing and updating the Career Center’s social media platforms to enhance engagement and promote events and services.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging print and digital content, including graphics, videos, and written copy for marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives.
• Campaign Development: Collaborate with Career Center staff to brainstorm and implement innovative marketing campaign ideas that support career resources and events. • Outreach Coordination: Work closely with our Career Champions to coordinate outreach efforts and effectively communicate with students and alumni.
• Design and Editing: Utilize tools such as Canva to create visually appealing materials and edit videos as needed.
• Event Support: Assist in promotion of Career Center events, including workshops, career fairs, and informational sessions.
• Data Visualization: Create visually appealing data visualizations for presentations and reports to effectively communicate key insights and trends.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as a college student, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong creative skills with a keen eye for design.
• Proficiency in video editing and content creation tools (experience with Canva preferred).
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
