I wanted to share an incredible internship opportunity at Columbia University that may be of interest to your students. Although it’s primarily aimed at undergraduates and not strictly media-related, it’s a fantastic chance for them to gain valuable experience. As an alum of this program, I can personally vouch for its value. The internship includes room and board and is paid.
The program mainly focuses on residential life, but during my time there, I also had the opportunity to TA for a digital media course for high schoolers, produce short videos, and take photos for the media team. These experiences significantly helped build my early portfolio.
