Deadline Club journalism scholarship program now accepting applications — Deadline March 26 The Deadline Club is now accepting scholarship applications from undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in journalism or journalism-oriented communications programs in the New York City metropolitan area, which includes all campuses within 50 miles of Columbus Circle.
This year’s size and number of merit-based scholarship awards has yet to be determined. In 2022, the club awarded six scholarships of $2,500 each. Matthew Leish has represented media companies, journalists, and authors for over 20 years, handling a wide range of First Amendment and intellectual property-related litigation. He is a partner at New York-based Miller Korzenik Sommers Rayman LLP.
