Journalism Program Internship Openings

Get real-world reporting experience and build your clip portfolio by writing for the Hunter College Journalism Newsletter. We will publish five to seven short articles per month on topics relevant to the Hunter Journalism community: student news, faculty profiles, department events, etc. You will work with Professor David Alm from the idea stage through publication. Qualifications: Excellent journalistic writing skills, strong instincts for identifying viable stories, and an ability to work independently. This is not a class, but something between an academic and professional context; as such, only students with strong demonstrated reporting and writing proficiency will be considered. To apply, send a brief bio and two journalistic writing samples to David at almdavid@gmail.com by 5pm on Monday, January 30th
