Job Overview: The intern would assist with producing individual television segments and other show elements.
Responsibilities and Duties: The intern would work as a production assistant, doing research for producers and acquiring images, video, and additional information needed to produce TV segments. Work with in-house videographers and editors. The intern would also assist with boosting the show’s social media presence by writing and suggesting post ideas. Depending on experience and skills, interns may produce a TV segment.
Qualifications: Strong writing skills and the ability to shoot and edit are a plus. Journalism, Film, Television, and/or Communication majors. Attach or link reels or sample work to your resume.
Duration: Spring 2023 academic semester, 01/25/2023 – 05/23/2023
Hours/Days: 8 to 12 hours/week. One to three days a week.

CUNY TV – Equipment Room/Camera Production Assistant – Spring 2023
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
· Assist in the upkeep, maintenance, inventory control, and minor repairs of field equipment, including video cameras, audio equipment, microphones, lavaliers, lighting equipment, and recording devices.
· Accompany staff videographers on-field remote assignments in a production assistant capacity.
· Assist and operate in-studio television cameras and teleprompters.
Qualifications and Skills:
· General computer skills and familiarity with video production equipment.
· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability. Resourcefulness and problem-solving. A team player with great communication skills.
· Film, Television, and/or Communication majors.
