I am Marie Gilot, the director of the professional development operations at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in New York City. I am reaching out because some of your students and faculty might be interested in participating in our summer program, called the Summer Intensives taking place in New York in July.
The Summer Intensives are a great opportunity to learn new skills with expert instructors, practice journalism in the media capital of the world and make connections. Our four tracks are Digital skills; Journalism Innovation; Video and Social Storytelling; and Reporting and Writing in NYC. Tuition is affordable and low-cost lodging options are available.
Each summer, dozens of journalists, journalism teachers and students come to New York from all over the United States and the world for this memorable and career-enhancing program.
