The Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute at Hunter College is seeking one or two undergraduate or graduate student interns from the Film and Media Department to work with us to produce short videos spotlighting the work of this year’s Joan H. Tisch Community Health Prize grantees.  We are looking for candidates to begin working with us on these projects ASAP.

Description:

Continuing over the fall semester, the selected student(s) will work with the Electronic Media and Communications Manager and our A/V staff to produce a series of short videos and/or podcasts with faculty and invited guest speakers. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility in terms of hours, but should plan to be on site at Roosevelt House at least 10 hours a week Knowledge of shooting and editing video and audio and/or digital photography is required.  Please include links to your work.

Roosevelt House, an integral part of Hunter College since 1943, reopened in 2010 as a public policy institute honoring the distinguished legacy of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Its mission is three-fold: to educate students in public policy and human rights, to support faculty research, and to foster creative dialogue.  Roosevelt House is located at 47-49 E. 65th Street, between Madison and Park Avenues, just south of Hunter College’s 68th street campus.
