We are seeking a creative and hard-working production intern to assist with Lasting Impressions, DOROT’s new legacy initiative, which pairs staff and volunteers with DOROT’s older adult clients to help them share their stories, beliefs, values and life lessons. You can help us achieve our goal to ensure they are not forgotten. The intern will work directly with the program manager of Lasting Impressions as well as DOROT’s online content manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sound and video editing for digital storytelling projects
  • Providing technical guidance and art direction to those conducting the interviews
  • Accompanying interviewers on occasion to assist with filming of interview and b-roll footage

Requirements:

  • Ability to deliver videos that clearly tell the desired story with cuts, sound and

other elements that convey a quality production

  • Knowledge of digital videography and equipment
  • Initiative, common sense and problem-solving skills
  • Some media production experience a must
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or alone
  • Experience with Adobe Premier
