Job Title: Marketing Intern for Live Nation Clubs & Theatres Division
Start Date: September 2015
Weekly Hours: A Minimum of 20 hours per week, ideally over 3-4 days
Rate of Pay: Nonpaid internship for College Credit Only
Location: New York, NY
Live Nation formed in 2005 as a spin-off from Clear Channel Communications, which then merged with Ticketmaster in 2010 to become Live Nation Entertainment.
This internship will be with the Marketing Department of the NYC Clubs & Theatres division and focus on marketing efforts for venues such as Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theatre, The Wellmont Theater, Santos Party House, etc…
Interns would be helping out the team to:
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase event exposure.
• Focus on online marketing tactics / social networking to increase event exposure.
• Focus on street marketing tactics to increase event exposure
• Assist in setting up promotions for individual shows in online forums, print, radio, retail, etc.
• Maintain relationships with partners for respective marketing campaigns.
• Contact marketing partners to request promotion proposals, as directed.
• Aid in preparation of materials to be forwarded to management, as needed.
• Help to coordinate day of show on site presence for marketing partners and media, as needed.
• Support the advertising leg within the marketing department with related advertising tasks.
• General office tasks.
