The CUNY Inclusive Economy program at Hunter College, for film and media students, is hosting two special site visits this month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, on April 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., students can attend a site visit to Rubenstein Communications<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rubenstein Communications, a New York-based public relations and reputation management firm with more than 60 years of experience, is known for its work in media relations, crisis management, and strategic counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While at Rubenstein Communications, attendees can connect with professionals and recruiters, gain insight into the firm\u2019s daily work and learn what it takes to secure a position in the public relations industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students interested in exploring careers in public relations and learning more about Rubenstein Communications can register for the event here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, on April 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., students interested in news production and the inner workings of a newsroom can attend a newsroom site visit with Bloomberg.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomberg News<\/a> is a New York-based international news agency that covers topics regarding business, finance and the economy. The organization delivers news across multiple platforms, including Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg.com<\/a>, and focuses on data-driven analysis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the newsroom site visit, attendees can learn how a Bloomberg newsroom operates from pre-production to live broadcast and post-segments, and gain insight into the fast-paced world of financial journalism and news broadcasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
