This tenure-track role will be at the assistant or associate level, depending on credentials, and focus on narrative and investigative print journalism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the job posting, the ideal candidate will have a significant body of published work and experience as a writer and editor, a demonstrated ability to teach multi-platform journalism and an eagerness to work with students from diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experience with visual and audio storytelling is essential, while &#8220;experience with artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to support news-gathering, audience engagement and community-connected journalism is preferred.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The professor will teach 18 assignable hours per year, typically a 3-3 course load.
