McCarthy\u2019s Studio News Production class took a field trip to CUNY TV last month.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmy award-winning journalist Tinabeth Pi\u00f1a led a tour of the station and told students about her work on the magazine show, Latinas, a monthly program that showcases Latino women \u201cat home and in business and everywhere else in between,\u201d she said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure and off camera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some students called the shots from the director\u2019s chair while others showed off their anchoring and interviewing skills on set.
