This past semester he produced, edited and anchored a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8FmEeKK0G1I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10-minute video news break<\/a> recapping the latest headlines and stories from Hunter College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6024\" width=\"693\" height=\"388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3.jpg 536w, https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3-165x93.jpg 165w, https:\/\/fm.hunter.cuny.edu\/journalism\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Picture3-372x209.jpg 372w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 693px) 100vw, 693px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>BuzzFeed News also published one of Tamsuriyamit\u2019s stories about how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/michaeltamsuriyamit\/young-asian-american-online-activism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">three young Asian Americans turned to online activism<\/a> in response to the anti-Asian hate crimes during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With every story he reports on, Tamsuriyamit makes sure to stay true to not only the facts, but also his motto: \u201cBecause what matters is what\u2019s worth talking about.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamsuriyamit is a junior majoring in Media Studies with a journalism concentration who aspires to work in a TV newsroom after college covering local issues concerning New York City.
