<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe positions, which may be for either credit or for work-study for qualifying students, will give interns the opportunity to work closely with journalism faculty on a variety of projects for 4-12 hours a week. The position runs through the fall semester, with an option to continue through next spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the post, interns will report, photograph and write stories for the journalism program website and weekly newsletter, as well as manage social media accounts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The position will also provide the opportunity to help organize journalism program events, like the biannual Pulitzer Center Talk at the Roosevelt House, and to help host and interact with professional journalists visiting for guest talks and lunches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working under the supervision of the Journalism Program\u2019s director and its internship coordinator, interns:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n REQUIREMENTS: <\/strong>Intern candidates must have taken or be taking MEDP 160 and MEDPL 201 courses or higher. Digital media skills preferred, especially Premiere and WordPress.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n HOURS: <\/strong>Interns will work from 4-12 hours per week each semester, with the schedule of hours to be determined together with the Journalism Program\u2019s internship coordinator.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
