NY Bureau:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hours: 40 hours per week<\/li><li>Location: New York City, NY<\/li><li>Start Date: June 2020 &#8211; December 2020<\/li><li>Application Deadline: November 15, 2019<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The New York bureau of&nbsp;<em>Marketplace<\/em>&nbsp;has an excellent internship opportunity for those who have an active interest in business journalism.&nbsp;<em>Marketplace<\/em>&nbsp;Interns will be compensated on an hourly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a six month internship position from June 2020 &#8211; December 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Learn and perform a variety of production, research, and editorial tasks, including cutting tape.<\/li><li>Assist reporters in developing Web and social media content to accompany and complement their on-air stories.<\/li><li>Write show promos, daily station updates, and other materials.<\/li><li>Contribute ideas for stories and other editorial material.<\/li><li>Conduct pre-interviews for on-air guests.<\/li><li>Conduct &#8216;person on the street&#8217;
