The Fox News College Associate Program<\/a><\/strong><\/span> is for motivated college students who are passionate about the news industry. College Associates are paid to gain real world work experience with guidance from top news professionals. College Associates are assigned to a department that matches their skill set, work experience and career aspirations.\u00a0http:\/\/careers.foxnews.com\/students
\nSummer Session: 8 weeks long; 32 hours a week (broken into 4 to 5 days a week). Program begins in June.
\nFall\/Spring Semester: 10 weeks long; 16 hours per week (broken into 2 to 4 days a week). Fall program begins in September. Spring program begins in February.<\/p>\nDeadlines<\/h4>\n
Fall: Accepting applications from June 1 to July 31.
\nSpring: Accepting applications from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.
\nSummer: Accepting applications from Nov. 1 to Jan. 31.<\/p>\n
How To Apply<\/h4>\n
Must be enrolled in accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree
\nResume and cover letter detailing why you should be selected for this program
\nStrong academic record – minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or above to be considered
\nCurrent class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
\nPrior relevant work\/internship experience
\nCommitted and available to work entire semester\/summer
\nStudents are responsible for their own housing and transportation
\nCollege credit is NOT required to be eligible for the program
\nMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship
\n(CPT-seeking candidates not accepted)
\nIf selected to move forward in the interview process:
\nDemonstrated knowledge of current events and\/or business news
