From behind-the-scenes looks at broadcast, cable, syndicated, and online programming to sneak peeks at television\u2019s most intriguing plotlines,&nbsp;<em>TV Guide Magazine<\/em>&nbsp;has every corner of the television medium covered. Celebrating more than 60 years as America\u2019s most trusted television authority,&nbsp;<em>TV Guide Magazine<\/em>is the premier source for entertainment news, guidance and information about the country\u2019s most popular leisure time activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>TV Guide Magazine<\/em>\u00a0interns gain experience in several departments at the magazine throughout their stay. In the research department, the interns have the opportunity to fact check stories and assist the researchers in stories for publication. The intern will work closely with editors and staff writers to help compile information for our listings pages and special packages such as our Spring Preview. The intern will attend a daily morning news meetings and editorial meetings and is welcome to pitch ideas to the staff. Interns will also transcribe interviews with actors\/producers, communicate with network publicists, and research\u00a0<em>TV Guide Magazine<\/em>\u2019s rich archives. Depending on the intern\u2019s skill set, they may have the opportunity to cover events, conduct phone interviews for stories and write stories for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">TV Insider.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>TV Guide Magazine\u00a0<\/em>is looking for interns who are passionate about television. Enthusiasm, efficiency and organizational skills are essential, in addition to proficiency with Excel, Google Docs\/Sheets and social media. Interns must be strong writers, and experience in journalistic research and conducting interviews is a plus.
