Job Description

The Fox News College Associate Program is for motivated college students who are passionate about the news industry. College Associates are paid to gain real world work experience with guidance from top news professionals. College Associates are assigned to a department that matches their skill set, work experience and career aspirations. http://careers.foxnews.com/students
Summer Session: 8 weeks long; 32 hours a week (broken into 4 to 5 days a week). Program begins in June.
Fall/Spring Semester: 10 weeks long; 16 hours per week (broken into 2 to 4 days a week). Fall program begins in September. Spring program begins in February.

Deadlines

Fall: Accepting applications from June 1 to July 31.
Spring: Accepting applications from Sept. 1 to Nov. 30.
Summer: Accepting applications from Nov. 1 to Jan. 31.

How To Apply

Must be enrolled in accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree
Resume and cover letter detailing why you should be selected for this program
Strong academic record – minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or above to be considered
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
Prior relevant work/internship experience
Committed and available to work entire semester/summer
Students are responsible for their own housing and transportation
College credit is NOT required to be eligible for the program
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship
(CPT-seeking candidates not accepted)
If selected to move forward in the interview process:
Demonstrated knowledge of current events and/or business news
Transcript or letter showing proof of enrollment
Letters of recommendation
