🐣\u00a0We are excited to announce that we\u2019re recruiting for a New York-based\u00a0Senior Program Manager<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to join our current staff of 12. This newly created position will play an integral role in programs that Chicken & Egg Pictures is launching and expanding as part of its\u00a02023-2025 Strategic Plan<\/strong><\/a>. Senior Program Manager<\/strong>
The Senior Program Manager will oversee and implement programs designed to support experienced directors to ensure they stay and thrive in the film industry: the Chicken & Egg Pictures Award program, in its eighth year, is increasing the grant amounts and number of award recipients and finalists, disbursing $630,000 annually; and a new Research & Development Grant in 2023, disbursing $450,000 annually.\u00a0
The position will lead and manage our new initiative to support film producers, which will launch in 2024.
The Senior Program Manager will also work with the Program Director and team in developing and implementing Chicken & Egg Pictures\u2019 strategy as a field-building organization and collaborator in the documentary ecosystem of media organizations and industry players. They will help to identify and cultivate external partnerships that will expand networks and grow opportunities for the organization and its supported filmmakers.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting filmmakers from diverse communities; creating inclusive spaces where filmmakers can thrive; developing equitable programs and selection processes; and building strong relationships in the field and within the organization across lines of identity and power.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
