Job Overview: <\/strong>The intern would assist with producing individual television segments and other show elements.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities and Duties:<\/strong> The intern would work as a production assistant, doing research for producers and acquiring images, video, and additional information needed to produce TV segments. Work with in-house videographers and editors. The intern would also assist with boosting the show’s social media presence by writing and suggesting post ideas. Depending on experience and skills, interns may produce a TV segment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications: <\/strong>Strong writing skills and the ability to shoot and edit are a plus. Journalism, Film, Television, and\/or Communication majors. Attach or link reels or sample work to your resume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duration: <\/strong>Spring 2023 academic semester, 01\/25\/2023 – 05\/23\/2023 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hours\/Days:<\/strong> 8 to 12 hours\/week. One to three days a week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CUNY TV<\/strong>  <\/strong>– Equipment Room\/Camera Production Assistant – Spring 2023<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core Responsibilities and Duties:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Assist in the upkeep, maintenance, inventory control, and minor repairs of field equipment, including video cameras, audio equipment, microphones, lavaliers, lighting equipment, and recording devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Accompany staff videographers on-field remote assignments in a production assistant capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Assist and operate in-studio television cameras and teleprompters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications and Skills:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         General computer skills and familiarity with video production equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7         Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability. Resourcefulness and problem-solving. A team player with great communication skills.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
