Position Summary<\/strong>: The Marketing Intern will assist with the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategic planning for iBRAIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\nLocation<\/strong>: REMOTE or IN-PERSON (New York City, New York)<\/p>\n\n\n\nResponsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Support the marketing and communications activities of iBRAIN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual communications plan across audiences in collaboration with the iBRAIN team and constituents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assist with the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Participate in the decide who, where, and when to disseminate<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assist with the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, annual report, e-newsletters, and iBRAIN’s website<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Support the management of media contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Engage in community-based advocacy, outreach, and training to disability communities and organizations, particularly to underserved communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with other local, state, and federal agencies and organizations involved in preventing, identifying, treating and curing brain injury in youth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assists in fundraising and development for iBRAIN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Supports the Marketing Team on all major fundraising initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Assists the Marketing Team to develop and implement iBRAIN’s strategic planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Actively work with the Marketing Team and senior staff to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to include corporate, foundation, government grants, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Provide and present statistical analysis to the Marketing Team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00b7 Currently enrolled or recent graduate with Bachelor\u2019s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, advertising, business or related field<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Efficient marketing research skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Effective communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Demonstrated ability to take a leadership role in project coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR<\/p>\n\n\n\n
