Summer Job Openings in Production Assistants, Videography, Photography for 2022 Queensboro Dance Festival<\/strong>

The annual Queensboro Dance Festival is hiring student summer positions for their tour of free, outdoor dance performances featuring Queens-based dance companies of diverse cultures & styles.  Tour runs about 20 event dates between June 4- September 18 with performances mainly on weekends 6pm.  For students interested in hands-on experience in live performance production and running outdoor events, shooting live dance performance and interaction with over 20 professional Queens dance companies.  Students will be exposed to a network of Queens dance, cultural, and production resource networks. www.queensborodancefestival.com<\/a>, Instagram @ queensborodancefestival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Production Assistants:<\/strong>\u00a0 Production assistants will help with unloading equipment, setting up dance flooring (snap-locking tiles, not a raised stage), and breaking down equipment for loadout.\u00a0 Required to be on-site at events 2-8pm for 6pm show; as set up gets faster hours may be less. Required to be able to lift at least 15 lbs. Honorarium paid per event date worked, minimum of 10-date commitment.Videography and Photography:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Videographers and photographers (1 camera setup) required to be on-site in various outdoor venues in Queens (parks, plazas, street events) from 5-7:30pm.\u00a0 Welcome to use own equipment or using our iPhone equipment.\u00a0 Responsible for uploading, organizing, and sending footage from our cloud and via WeTransfer.\u00a0 Honorarium paid per event date worked, minimum of 10-date commitment.
