Social Media\/Writer\/Event Coverage\u2028<\/strong>
\nCreate content for main Hunter College social media channels, follow and report on activity of other Hunter social media channels and relevant non-hunter accounts. Create graphics for use on social media. Using journalistic skills (note taking, obtaining quotes, news judgement), cover and report on events and happenings around the college. Skills: Writing, ability to tailor style depending on the social media channel; basic graphic design and photo editing skills. Some night availability required for event coverage.<\/p>\n

Graphic Designer<\/strong>
\nUnder the guidance of Hunter College\u2019s senior graphic designers, create original graphic content for Hunter\u2019s campus digital signage, website, and print materials such as brochures, invitations, and event programs. The candidate must have a good understanding of social media channels and be able to design graphics within that context. The candidate must be able to work independently\u2013both in terms of design conception and execution\u2013while also taking guidance from our senior designers, implementing their feedback into the task at hand and taking that guidance into future designs. The candidate should also be skilled at photo editing (color correction, resizing, cropping, ect.)\u00a0Advanced\u00a0experience with the following software is required: Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator\u00a0on Mac Platform. Experience with other design software, such as After Effects, is a plus.<\/p>\n
