Seeking an intern to work with archival research\/licensing, and production with filmmaker Sheila Maniar and Jalaram Productions.\u00a0 The intern will experience all aspects of documentary post-production and production including but not limited to background research, archival research, managing production media (footage\/stills), and social media. \u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Sheila Maniar\u00a0is a New York-based filmmaker. Miss Maniar was most recently was the Co-Producer for\u00a0<\/span>Disco Demolition<\/i>\u00a0for Red Bull Music Academy, the Emmy-nominated\u00a0<\/span>Wilhemina\u2019s Wa<\/i>r for PBS, and \u00a0Emmy-nominated\u00a0<\/span>Through A Lens Darkly-\u00a0<\/i>which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Miss Maniar has extensive archival research and clearance experience including the Oscar-winning\u00a0<\/span>Citizenfour<\/i>. Miss Maniar was the\u00a0Archival Clearance Researcher for Jonathan Demme\u2019s Academy Award-nominated\u00a0<\/span>Mandela: Son of Africa,\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Father of a Nation,\u00a0<\/span>the Grammy-nominated\u00a0Two Trains\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Runnin<\/span>\u2019,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and the Projection Researcher for the Tony-nominated play\u00a0<\/span>Evita<\/i>.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

We are looking for an intern who can commit to 10-15 hours a week, \u00a0on a weekly schedule to be arranged with some flexibility. Qualifications: \u00a0please indicate in your cover letter and resume any of the following qualifications including: \u00a0<\/u>good typing and comprehension, documentary\/TV post-production and production, \u00a0good written communication and proofreading skills, historical research, \u00a0and social media for films.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
