I&#8217;ve included information about the&nbsp;program&nbsp;below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SBIFF\u2019s&nbsp;Film&nbsp;Studies&nbsp;Program&nbsp;is&nbsp;<strong>a three-day symposium&nbsp;<\/strong>open to all undergraduate students from around the United States. The&nbsp;program&nbsp;<strong><em>emphasizes&nbsp;film&nbsp;appreciation, criticism, and analysis.&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><em>Led by SBIFF sanctioned&nbsp;film&nbsp;educators,<\/em><strong><em>&nbsp;participating students experience a packed&nbsp;program&nbsp;with access to SBIFF\u2019s many events and opportunities,<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The opportunity to view some of the 250+\u00a0films with priority access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0Attend the highly acclaimed Panel Series, where notable industry professionals come together for discussions spanning directing, producing, writing and women in the business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hear guest\u00a0filmmakers participate in intimate Q&amp;A sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partake in private sessions with\u00a0filmmakers and national media professionals in a classroom environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience the red carpet at one of SBIFF\u2019s Tribute Events \u2013 an hour and a half of raw conversation about the honoree\u2019s career.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Film&nbsp;Studies&nbsp;program&nbsp;offers a unique mix of guided and self-guided opportunities, allowing students to maximize their experience at the festival, while still pursuing their individual interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We prioritize students from areas or colleges that don\u2019t have access to in-person movies, or they don\u2019t have a film studies program in their schools or haven\u2019t been to a film festival before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 2026 Program&nbsp;Dates are February 6th&nbsp;&#8211;
