We\u2019re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable videography intern to capture high-quality footage of stand-up comedy and live music performances in the Twin Cities area. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in filming live events in a fast-paced, creative environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key Details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Pay: $30-50 per show<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shoot Duration:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Comedy sets: Typically 5-15 minutes per set<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Music sets: Typically 20-45 minutes per set<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Location: Primarily within NYC<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Equipment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Camera body (any model, as long as it supports the required lenses)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 18-35mm fast lens (f\/1.4 – f\/1.8) for wide to medium shots (fixed lens preferred)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 50-70mm fast lens (f\/1.4 – f\/1.8) for closer, more intimate framing (fixed lens preferred)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Tripod for steady shots<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Shotgun mic for clear audio capture in live settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ideal Candidate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Has an interest in live performance filming, especially in comedy and music<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is dependable, punctual, and comfortable in dynamic, sometimes crowded environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Can work effectively with low light and adapt quickly to changing stage lighting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About the Role:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a videography intern, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work on 3 to 10 shoots per month, primarily during evening hours between 7 pm and 10 pm, capturing live stand-up comedy and music sets. This flexible schedule is ideal for building your portfolio and gaining hands-on experience in dynamic, low-light environments typical of live performance venues. Each shoot is unique, allowing you to develop your style and technical skills in a variety of settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
