TV Graphics Design Assistant – CUNY TV <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CUNY TV<\/a> is New York City’s leading public educational channel, broadcasting 24\/7 from the City University of New York. Since 1985, CUNY TV has been dedicated to extending CUNY’s academic mission, connecting and uplifting the diverse experiences of New Yorkers through meaningful stories and lifelong learning opportunities. Reaching 7.3 million households, CUNY TV offers a wide range of programming, including locally produced shows, documentaries, lectures, and artistic performances. Available on various channels across the five boroughs and the CUNY TV App, CUNY TV has garnered 41 New York Emmy\u00ae Awards and numerous other industry honors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Overview:<\/strong> Reporting to the Director of Operations, with a secondary reporting line to the Head Graphics Designer, for daily task allocation, the TV Graphics Design Assistant will undertake the following responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities and Duties:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Collaborate in designing and implementing graphics design packages for in-house programming and marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Assist with the production of design deliverables and ensure the quality of final products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Prepare and operate on-air graphics and video roll-ins for live and live-to-tape studio and field productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Work closely with team leaders and program producers to develop new design concepts and ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       2+years of creative experience with a primary focus on motion design<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Strong design skills and excellent attention to detail <\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Proficient with Adobe After Effects, Adobe CC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       3D animation skills (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya) a plus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–       Strong verbal and communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: <\/strong>CUNY TV studios. 365 5th Ave. New York, NY 10016 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-Person\/Remote: <\/strong>In-person<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hours\/Days:<\/strong> 32.\/week. Monday \u2013 Friday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hourly Rate of Pay:<\/strong> $31.83<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Annualized Salary:<\/strong> $52,965.12<\/p>\n\n\n\n
