Part-time Graphics Design\/Animation Instructor in NYC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whizara<\/a> <\/em>offers student-centered, highly engaging and interactive in-person graphics design and animation classes for K-5 students. The company is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy computer programming instructors for its classes. Job responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Create a classroom environment conducive to learning<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Be punctual, reliable, organized and efficient to run an effective class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Follow the provided curriculum and lesson plans, set student’s goals, motivate and guide students to provide an enjoyable learning experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Monitor student progress, advise students and provide feedback and support to students as required to meet student outcomes and course objectives<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Work effectively with students, teachers and parents to achieve course goals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Work independently and be a self-starter<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Communicate via email and phone with us as needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Current college student or recent grad (GPA 3.5 or above) in computer graphics, animation, fine arts or related field<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Experience with graphics design and animation tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Previous teaching or tutoring experience is highly preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Very comfortable with technology and using computers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Must be comfortable teaching kids including elementary, middle and high school students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7  Must be able to work in a classroom environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
