I hope you have been well. I am writing again as we\u2019re recruiting for Winter\/Spring (January \u2013 May) interns here at WMM and thought some of your students may be interested. As you may know, Women Make Movies is a NYC based non-profit feminist media organization that supports women filmmakers though distribution and Production Assistance. We work with thousands of educational, cultural and community-based organizations providing them with independent films by and about women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are currently looking for Winter\/Spring virtual interns<\/strong> to work in a variety of departments including: Distribution\/Digital Media, Production Assistance\/Fiscal Sponsorship, Marketing\/Outreach, Acquisitions, Social Media and Administration. The Winter\/Spring term runs from January \u2013 May and we require a commitment of 2 days per week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n They can find more information on how to apply and the benefits of the internship program here<\/a>. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on (albeit virtual) experience with a respected and long-standing independent film organization. Please note that this is NOT a production internship and all work is done in our Manhattan office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
