IMA alumni at Flux Factory

IMA Alumni Ariana Souzis, Hector Canonge and Alana Kakoyiannis are part of a group show at Flux Factory, The Typhoon Continues and So Do You, an exhibition about objects of war opening on Friday, April 1st.

Opening reception: Friday, April 1, from 6 pm on
Exhibition dates: Saturday, April 2 through Sunday, May 1

Hunter College undergraduate journalists are invited to enter their work in the James Aronson Undergraduate Journalism contest.

The winner will receive $200 and will be recognized as part of the ceremonies for the James Aronson Award for Social Justice Journalism, a contest for professional journalists.

IMA Alumnae Doris Caçoilo and Alana Kakoyiannis are working on creating an eight week residency, curators and artists construct and deconstruct: their understanding and experience of media; the different perspectives of journalism online vs. print; the future of news. The projects created will be exhibited in Cyprus and then in NYC.
