“Extraordinary documentary that puts body and life into the feminist idea that the personal is political,”
Rosalind Petchesky, Distinguished Professor of Political Science at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, CUNY.

This new documentary by Tami Gold, brings Charlotte’s story to life, from idealistic young civil rights organizer to lesbian activist, to internationally-recognized leader of a campaign to put women’s rights on the global human rights agenda. Join us in celebrating global feminism — the wonderful advances that have been made and the work still to be done. And what a great place to have this event – in the home of Eleanor Roosevelt!
Charlotte and Tami will be present.

This event is co-sponsored by Academic Programs and the Center for LGBT Social Science & Public Policy at Roosevelt House.
